Interstate Historic Trust Fund Loans are available from a trust fund established by the Florida Department of Transportation for the restoration of historic homes in districts impacted by interstate development. Loans of up to $100,000 are available for qualified residential properties at terms of up to 20 years and interest rates fixed at Treasury-bill rates on the date of application approval.

Grant and loan application processes are extensive, and preference is given to Home Encounter consultants who have a history of successfully restoring homes in Tampa's historic districts.
